HyperEVM is Hyperliquid's EVM layer. It is not a separate chain: it runs on the same HyperBFT consensus as HyperCore, the order-book side of Hyperliquid. Your token is a standard ERC-20 and gas is paid in HYPE. Values below were read on-chain on 26 Oct 2026.

HYPE in your Hyperliquid trading account sits on HyperCore. It can't pay EVM gas until you move it across.
0x2222222222222222222222222222222222222222 does the same thing. That address accepts HYPE only: any other asset sent there is lost.Keep about 0.21 HYPE on HyperEVM: 0.2 HYPE for the service fee plus a little gas.
HyperEVM makes small blocks every second with a 3 million gas limit, and big blocks every minute with 30 million. Large deployments need the sender switched to big blocks first. Creating a token here uses about 1.5 million gas, so it fits a small block and goes through in seconds without that step.
Many HyperEVM pools use concentrated liquidity, including the three largest AMMs by liquidity on DefiLlama on 27 Oct 2026: Project X, Nest's CL pools and HyperSwap V3. Concentrated pools don't support transfer taxes. If your token has a Tax, use a full-range pool instead. HyperSwap V2, the classic side of HyperSwap, is built on the Uniswap V2 design with full-range pools, and it held the most liquidity of HyperEVM's full-range DEXes on DefiLlama that day. After you add the pool, make a small test buy and sell to check that the tax works as set.
Without Tax you can use any of these venues, and a meme coin, which needs easy trading from day one, usually launches that way. Pair the token with HYPE, then share its HyperEVMScan page with buyers. The meme coin guide has more on supply and first holders.
