What you get
Everything included when you launch your ERC-20 token on Unichain — no surprises.
Standard ERC-20 contractOpen-source code with the standard ERC-20 interface — block explorers pick it up automatically and any wallet can add it by its contract address.
100% your ownershipNon-custodial: we never touch your keys. The token belongs only to you.
No hidden powers by defaultNo mint, tax or blacklist unless you add them — and you can renounce ownership anytime.
Live on Unichain in minutesOne transaction and your token is on-chain, visible on Uniscan.
Optional power featuresMintable, Tax and Blacklist — toggle only what you need. Burning is built into every token.

How it works
From idea to a live Unichain token in three simple steps.
1

Connect your wallet

Link MetaMask, Trust Wallet or any Unichain wallet. We never get access to your funds.

2

Configure your token

Set the name, symbol, supply and decimals, add a logo and pick optional features.

3

Deploy on Unichain

Approve one transaction — your ERC-20 token goes live instantly and is yours forever.

Unichain basics for token creators

Unichain is an Ethereum layer-2 built by Uniswap Labs on the OP Stack. Its documentation lists 1-second blocks, preconfirmations in about 200 milliseconds through Flashblocks, and a permissionless fault-proof system. Gas is paid in ETH.

Unichain's docs note that the public RPC is rate-limited. If your wallet stalls while estimating the transaction, wait a moment and press Create again; nothing is sent until you approve it in your wallet.

What a Unichain token costs

The service fee is 0.009 ETH. The network fee is tiny by comparison: a plain deployment simulated on 26 October 2026 used about 1.48 million gas at 0.0015 gwei (a 0.0005 gwei base fee plus a 0.001 gwei tip), roughly 0.0000022 ETH, and the L1 data part added well under 0.00000001 ETH. Almost all of what you pay on Unichain is the service fee.

Bridging to Unichain

  • Unichain's docs point to Superbridge for moving ETH and other supported assets from Ethereum.
  • The docs also name third-party bridges that support Unichain, including Across, Brid.gg, Allbridge and Synapse.
  • Open whichever you use from Unichain's docs rather than a search result, and move a small amount before the rest. Look-alike bridge sites are a common way to lose funds.

Uniswap on its home chain

Unsurprisingly, Uniswap holds nearly all the DEX liquidity on Unichain: on 26 October 2026, DefiLlama's Unichain page showed it far ahead, mostly in V4 and V3 pools, with Curve, DyorSwap and Velodrome (grouped there under Aero) much smaller.

Uniswap V2 is deployed on Unichain as well (its factory is listed in Uniswap's V2 deployment docs). That matters if you switched on Tax: a V2 pool can hold a fee-on-transfer token, while V3 and V4 pools can't. For a token without tax, V3 or V4 lets you concentrate liquidity around your launch price.

  1. Open app.uniswap.org, connect your wallet and select Unichain as the network.
  2. Create a new position, pick the pool version (V2 for a tax token), paste your token's contract address from Uniscan and choose ETH or USDC as the other side.
  3. Set the starting price and amounts, approve your token, and add the liquidity. Lock the LP position if you want buyers to see it can't be pulled.

After launch

Uniscan shows your token as soon as it is mined, so check the supply, decimals and holders there. The factory's source code is verified on Unichain's Blockscout explorer (unichain.blockscout.com), where anyone can read the token contract it deploys.

A meme coin on Unichain lives or dies by its Uniswap pool. Put enough ETH in it that the first buys don't move the price wildly, and share the Uniswap pool link next to the Uniscan address. More in the meme coin guide.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about creating a ERC-20 token on Unichain.
How much does it cost to create a token on Unichain?

Creating your ERC-20 token costs the Unichain network gas fee plus a small one-time service fee (about 0.009 ETH). There are no subscriptions or hidden charges.

Do I need any coding skills?

None at all. The generator deploys a standard, open-source ERC-20 contract for you from our factory. You simply choose the name, symbol, supply and optional features, then click deploy.

Do I really own and control the token?

Completely. The deployment is non-custodial — we never hold your keys, and you are the sole owner of the contract. By default no mint, tax or blacklist powers are enabled, and you can renounce ownership at any time to make the token fully immutable.

How long does deployment take?

Under two minutes. After you approve the transaction in your wallet, your token deploys instantly and appears on Uniscan right away.

Can I add liquidity and sell my token?

Yes. Your token works with standard wallets and DEXs on Unichain. If you turned on Tax, use a V2-style pool; concentrated-liquidity (V3) pools don't support transfer taxes.

Is Uniswap V2 available on Unichain for a tax token?

Yes. Uniswap lists a V2 factory for Unichain in its V2 deployment docs, and V2 pools work with tokens that take a transfer tax. Uniswap V3 and V4 pools don't support transfer-tax tokens.

How long do withdrawals from Unichain to Ethereum take?

Through the standard bridge, about 7 days, because of the OP Stack challenge period. Deposits from Ethereum arrive much faster, and third-party bridges such as Across can be quicker for a fee.
